New on BLVCKOUT: your collection, ratings and a refreshed workspace
Private collections, shareable lists, ratings for movies and performers, internal messages and better account settings. Plus clearer performer credits, cleaner metadata and a more consistent layout across the site.
BLVCKOUT has received a substantial update, with new ways to organise your movies, contribute to the catalogue and manage your account.
YOUR PERSONAL MOVIE WORKSPACE
The member dashboard now brings your collection, ratings, followed performers and studios, shared links, messages and account settings together. Use the settings gear in the header to go straight to your account settings.
Save movies as Owned, Wanted or Favorites, create custom lists, and keep personal notes. Your collection and notes are private by default. If you want to share a wanted list or another collection, you can create a read-only link and revoke it later. Your dashboard includes an overview of the links you have shared.
RATINGS, TOP LISTS AND FOLLOWING
You can now rate both movies and performers using five stars with half-star steps. Community scores appear on cards and detail pages, and My ratings keeps a history of your own votes. Public ratings contribute to the community average without displaying your account name alongside the vote. Top-rated pages cover both movies and performers.
Follow performers and studios to find their newly added movies in your dashboard. Movie sharing also includes preview metadata for services that support link previews.
MESSAGES AND ACCOUNT SETTINGS
Support conversations now live inside BLVCKOUT. Read replies, continue a conversation and mark it resolved from your dashboard, without needing email for the conversation itself.
Account settings let you update your username, email address and password, and manage two-factor authentication. Email changes still require confirmation at the new address. API keys and your personal Plex connection are available together under API & integrations; Jellyfin and Plex downloads and setup information remain available on the integrations page.
CLEARER PERFORMER PROFILES AND CREDITS
Performer profiles now show more organised information, including age when a complete birth date is available, aliases and grouped personal details. The performer directory has gender filters and faster browsing.
For linked performers, movie credits show the profile name alongside the original credit when they differ, such as a full name followed by “Credited as …”. Credits without a confirmed identity are marked accordingly. A matching first name alone is not enough to link two people.
BLVCKOUT lists performers credited in movies in this catalogue. It is not a directory of standalone scenes or every appearance elsewhere.
CLEANER DATA AND COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
Imported profile data now has additional checks to keep values such as height, weight and nationality in the appropriate fields. Incorrectly placed values have been repaired or removed where they could not be established reliably. Missing information stays unknown rather than being guessed.
You can suggest corrections on movie and performer pages. Staff can compare proposed changes with current information and merge reviewed performer corrections without overwriting unrelated updates. Submissions remain subject to moderation.
A MORE CONSISTENT INTERFACE
Dashboard and admin panels now align in height, with actions lined up along the bottom. Contributions, missing-information results and admin review submissions use equal-sized cards, with four per row on wide screens and fewer columns on smaller screens. Covers on these cards are larger and can be opened for a closer look.
Other improvements include numbered pagination, clearer loading states, improved filter and input alignment, cleaner text encoding, and more compact administration screens. Staff also have expanded user management and an improved contact inbox.
Thank you to everyone contributing corrections and helping make the catalogue more useful.
